Joining the Eastern Ontario Handgun Club

Part 1: The Course

If you are interested in joining the club, your first step is to take this course. The Safety Course is mandatory, regardless of your shooting erxperience or skill level. Relax. It's not a money grab. The cost is only $10.00 to cover our expenses. The Eastern Ontario Handgun Club's safety courses are conducted at the club's range by Canadian Shooting Sports Association certified instructors whenever there is sufficient demand (usually monthly). While firearms are provided for the firearms safety courses, the Club does not store guns on site, so members will need their own firearms for regular shooting. You will want to review Acts & Prove prior to coming out for your course.

The EOHC course includes an introduction to the facilities and procedures used at our club, safety rules, handgun operation, live fire of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols on the range and a safety exam.

In the last quarter of the year the membership fee includes the coming year. For a family membership just add $10 to the single member price

Membership in the Canadian Shooting Sports Association (formerly Ontario Handgun Association) is mandatory for members of the Club. The CSSA provides members with $2,000,000 liability insurance to cover their shooting activities and offers a variety of training and competition programs.

For information on course times and dates or to sign up, send an email to cro@eohc.ca.

Some documents on the EOHC WebSite are formatted in Adobe Acrobat. In order to download or view them you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't have this program, just click on the logo to download it. Adobe Acrobat Reader is easy to install and is absolutely free.

PDF fillable: An Adobe PDF document that has forms in it that you can fill out. When you open a PDF fillable document in your browser, simply use your mouse to click on the form where you would normally write and you can type in your information and then print the form -- all neat and tidy. You can, of course, just print the form and fill it out with a black pen....but the fillable form is WAY cooler.
